OUR MISSION

It is the goal of GracePoint's children's ministry to point children and their families toward the Gospel message. We teach children and families to walk in Christ Jesus by the powerful, unmerited gift of the Holy Spirit available to believers. We find God's Word revealed in the Holy Scriptures, and we teach your children its truth. As they become disciples of Christ, they learn to extend Christ's invitation to a hurting world. They are the next generation's servant leaders, and our mission is to train them in The Way they should go. (See Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6, John 14:6, and Matthew 28:19-20.)

Nursery

As the basic needs of tiny GracePointers are met, age appropriate games and books are used to begin introducing them to God's love. They are tended to and loved in a safe, attentive environment.

Preschool

Our Pre-K class is where potty-trained preschool age children are taught God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Bible story lessons, crafts, and games are used to engage the kids.

Elementary

Kindergarten through 5th graders are invited to attend Kids JAM (Jesus and Me).  Kids develop their understanding of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Trinity, Salvation, the Church, and God's Mission through music, Bible stories, crafts, and games.  Children start out together or large group worship and high-energy teaching through drama or video, and then divide into their grade-level classes for smaller group learning with a consistent children's teacher.

At 10:30, 1st through 5th grade children attend worship with their families.  There is a handout for kids each week that goes along with the sermon.  Children get to participate in worship, and see worship and learning modeled by their parents.

SAFETY

Because we highly value the safety and security of children, GracePoint Church has a Child Protection Policy in place to help ensure each child’s well-being. This policy requires everyone working with children to complete a thorough application process, including background check for those in leadership. We have a check-in system for babies through elementary, ensuring it is the parent or guardian picking up a child, as well as alerting children's workers to any allergies.
